Mayfield Lavender Field with Lunch - July, 2023
For this day trip, we chose a venue slightly closer to our home patch. We arrived early at Kingswood Golf Club, which is where we stopped for lunch.
We enjoyed an excellent two-course meal and the service was very efficient so we were all ready to board the coach in good time for the afternoon visit to Mayfield Lavender.
Lorna May, the owner of Mayfield Lavender gave us an introductory talk about the history of the business and this was held in the midst of the lavender field.
We just had time for a cuppa and a piece of cake before boarding the coach to head home. - Sue Russell.
