There is a newish Barclays initiative called Barclays Local that has been developed to help meet the needs of customers where local branches have closed but face-to face contact is something that is preferred.


Basically, in a limited number of towns, Barclays have rented space in a community building or the like and staff are there on selected days to help you with anything from money management and financial health, to improving your home or supporting your business.

There’s no cash or counter service, but they can help you with your banking and can show you what you can do from your Barclays app.
